Jewish Mindfulness

CBI is proud to consistently offer classes in Jewish mindfulness, which are open to people with all levels of experience practice (from novice to advanced). Participants can explore both the methods and jewish values that find expression in mindfulness practice with the goal of engaging with the world and the people in it in a compassionate, kind, and open-hearted manner. CBI also brings these practices into our worship experiences, especially our Contemplative Shabbat service, which is held every 6-8 weeks. In the past we have often used the curriculum of the “gift of awareness” program from the IJS (Institute for Jewish Spirituality).
